Teaching Health Care Professionals the therapeutic use of Clinical Hypnosis in their practices and for their own health and well being.
Ben Pomerantz, MSW, LCSW
Healing Strategies teaches health care professionals how to induce hypnotic trance states in themselves and their patients. They also learn the basics of hypnotic phenomena, the ethical uses of hypnosis, the contraindications of its use, practical applications, and much more. The teaching takes place in seminars with anywhere from 4 to 45 participants. The healthcare professionals who participate in the seminars are in graduate or professional training programs for medicine, dentistry, psychology, social work, and marriage and family counseling. These seminars are also taught in psychiatric clinics as well as various departments in hospitals.
